PRS HUB SYSTEM

Our Helical Clutch ratchet with 72 teeth produces a 5 degree engagement angle, a huge 24% faster than our previous generation 6-pawl driver and DT’s 54 tooth ratchet (6.6 degrees). The PRS increases durability all while reducing loss of power engagement under load.

RIM TECHNOLOGY: ENHANCED AERODYNAMICS

The internal channel of the Metron 45 SL is 21mm, with an external shape that is optimized for a 28mm tire. This optimises the transition between the rim and the tire, thus improving aerodynamics, with significant improvements in performance at yaw angles where shallower rims are favoured, with reduced drag and an increase in stability of 15-21%.

Each rim is fully handmade using highly accurate construction methods, featuring new reinforcement at the spoke holes and the addition of a new foam layer that increases stiffness and helps the rim reach its ultra-light weight target.
